Instructions
- Heat 1-2 tsp of olive oil in a large skillet and brown the ground turkey for about 10-12 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and diced onion to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until the onions are translucent.
- Stir in taco seasoning, cooked rice, salsa, and half of the Mexican cheese. Combine well and cook on low heat for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Top the mixture with the remaining cheese, cover, and cook for 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Serve with your favorite taco toppings.
