Ingredients

The Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

The Sauce

  • 1 28-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all meatball ingredients in a large bowl and mix by hand.
  2. Scoop 2 tablespoons of the mixture for each meatball and roll them into balls, forming about 36 meatballs.
  3. Set the Instant Pot to sauté and heat olive oil.
  4. Sauté minced garlic for the sauce for about 2 minutes.
  5. Add remaining sauce ingredients and mix well.
  6. Place all meatballs into the Instant Pot with the sauce.
  7. Secure the lid and pressure cook on high for 8 minutes.
  8. Quick release the steam and serve the meatballs as desired.
