Ingredients

Bean Layer

Sour Cream Layer

  • cups sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • pinch black pepper

Other Layers

  • cups finely shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced olives
  • ¼ cup finely chopped green onions or chives

Instructions

  1. Mix the refried beans and salsa until smooth and spread in a dish.
  2. Mash the avocados with lime juice, cilantro, salt, and pepper, then spread over the beans.
