Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 ounce) refried beans
  • 2 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 pieces avocados
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • to taste salt
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 pieces tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can (3.8 ounce) sliced olives, drained
  • 2 pieces scallions, finely sliced
  • to serve as needed tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the refried beans and taco seasoning in a small bowl.
  2. Spread the bean mixture in the bottom of a glass bowl or baking dish and top with sour cream.
  3. Mash the avocados with lime juice and salt, then spread over the sour cream layer.
  4. Layer shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, olives, and scallions on top of the guacamole.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or cover and chill until serving.
