The filling

scallion, finely chopped

Instructions
- Combine milk and yeast in a cup and stir well.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well, then add corn oil.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Prepare the filling by mixing chopped scallions, salt, and baking soda.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly over it.
- Fold or roll the dough to seal the filling and cut into 10 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a bun and place on parchment paper in a steamer.
- Let the buns rise for 50 to 60 minutes until puffy.
- Steam the buns for 10 minutes and let them sit for 3 minutes before serving.
