Light Orange Beef and Broccoli

The beef and broccoli

flank steak, very thinly sliced

garlic, minced

broccoli, washed and cut into bite-sized pieces
Instructions
- Mix the first 6 ingredients to dissolve the cornstarch.
- Boil the broccoli for a few minutes until tender-crisp, then drain.
- Heat oil in a skillet over high heat, add steak and garlic, and drain excess fat.
- Cook the steak until browned, then add the sauce and stir until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in the broccoli.
- Serve over rice, garnished with orange zest and/or scallions.
