Ingredients

The popcorn

  • 8 cups popped popcorn

The candy mixture

  • ¼ C butter
  • 3 T light corn syrup
  • ½ C sugar
  • 1 3.5 oz box jello, any flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F and line a jelly roll pan with foil or parchment.
  2. Place the popcorn in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with the corn syrup.
  4. Add the sugar and jello to the saucepan and stir to combine.
  5. Increase the heat to bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour the hot mixture over the popcorn and mix immediately to coat evenly.
  7. Spread the coated popcorn onto the prepared pan.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool before breaking into pieces.
