Chemex filter
Instructions
- Fill the kettle with approximately 700 grams of water.
- Prep the Chemex filter by rounding off the top to match the Chemex profile.
- Rinse the filter with boiling water to remove any papery taste.
- Measure and grind 30 grams of coffee beans to a fine consistency.
- Add the ground coffee to the filter and level the surface.
- Prebrew by adding about 60 grams of water to saturate the grounds and let sit for 45 seconds.
- Slowly add water in concentric circles until the scale reads 400 grams.
- Remove and discard the filter once the water has drained.
- Pour the brewed coffee and enjoy.
