Ingredients

  • 1 cup coarsely-ground coffee beans
  • 4 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground coffee and cold water in a large bowl and stir briefly.
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  3. After brewing, set up a strainer covered with cheesecloth over a second bowl.
  4. Pour the coffee mixture over the strainer and allow it to filter through.
  5. Discard the grounds and remove the strainer.
  6. Dilute the coffee concentrate with water to your preferred strength and serve over ice.
