Instructions
- Rinse the rice under a steady stream of water until it runs clear.
- Spray the slow cooker insert with cooking spray.
- Add the rinsed rice and broth or water to the slow cooker.
- Dot the rice with cubed butter and sprinkle with salt.
- Cover the rice with parchment paper and place the lid on the slow cooker.
- Cook on high for 1½ to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, and check for doneness after 1½ hours.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
