Ingredients

The rice

  • 1 cup uncooked rice, rinsed

The liquid

  • 1 ½-2 cups veggie broth or water

The seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the rice, broth/water, and salt in a pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, which takes about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Cover the pot and reduce to a low simmer for 25 minutes for long grain rice and 30-35 minutes for short grain rice.
  4. Turn off the heat and let it sit for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
