How to Cook Rice

The rice

The liquid

veggie broth or water
The seasoning
Instructions
- Mix the rice, broth/water, and salt in a pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, which takes about 4-5 minutes.
- Cover the pot and reduce to a low simmer for 25 minutes for long grain rice and 30-35 minutes for short grain rice.
- Turn off the heat and let it sit for an additional 5 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and serve.
