Instructions
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- For the simmer method, combine water, rinsed rice, and olive oil in a pot, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover, simmering for 40-45 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and let sit covered for 10 minutes, then fluff with a fork and add herbs if desired.
- For the boil and drain method, bring water and olive oil to a boil, add rinsed rice, and boil uncovered for about 30 minutes.
- Drain excess water, return rice to the pot, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes, then fluff with a fork and add herbs if desired.
