Instructions
- Rinse the uncooked brown rice in a fine mesh strainer until the water runs clear.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, water, and olive oil.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover.
- Simmer for about 45 minutes until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
