The frosting

confectioners’ sugar

Instructions
- Cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy, then add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients, then gradually mix them into the wet mixture.
- Gently fold in the sprinkles and chill the dough for at least 3 hours.
- Preheat the oven and roll the dough into balls before placing them on lined cookie sheets.
- Bake until the edges are slightly browned and the centers are soft, then cool on wire racks.
- For the frosting, beat the butter until creamy, then mix in the sugar, cream, vanilla, and salt until fluffy.
- Frost the cooled cookies and decorate with additional sprinkles.
