Drop Sugar Cookies with Sprinkles

Instructions
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy, then add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until combined, then fold in the sprinkles.
- Scoop the dough into balls and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Place the chilled dough balls on the baking sheets and bake for 12-13 minutes until lightly browned.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
