Instructions
- Make the pie crust by mixing flour, sugar, and salt, then cutting in the cold butter until crumbly.
- Add ice water gradually until the dough forms, then wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.
- Prepare the crumb topping by mixing flour, oats, sugars, and cinnamon, then incorporating cold butter until crumbly.
- For the apple filling, combine sliced apples with lemon juice, sugar, flour, vanilla, cinnamon, and allspice.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and roll out the chilled pie dough into a large rectangle.
- Transfer the dough to a jelly roll pan, trim excess, and pour the apple filling evenly over it.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping over the apple filling and crimp the edges of the dough.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbling.
- Cool on a wire rack, then cut into pieces and serve.
