Instructions
- 1. In a saucepan, combine lentils and broth, bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered until lentils are tender, about 30 minutes.
- 2. Drain the lentils and let them cool completely for about 20 minutes.
- 3. In a food processor, blend the cooled lentils with garlic, olive oil, tahini, lemon juice, cumin (if using), and salt until smooth.
- 4. Transfer the hummus to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and serve with pita, crackers, or veggies.
