Mini Cheesy Pretzel Dogs

cheese (preferably American or cheddar)

beaten with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)

Instructions
- Make the dough by combining warm water and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and melted butter, then knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
- Shape the dough into a ball and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
- Prepare the dogs by slicing the wieners and stuffing them with cheese.
- Preheat the oven and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 20 pieces, rolling each into a rope to wrap around the cheese-stuffed dogs.
- Boil water with baking soda and briefly boil each wrapped dog before placing them on the baking sheet.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt before baking until golden brown.
