Instructions
- 1. Heat a 10-inch cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and cook the ground sausage for 8-10 minutes until browned.
- 2. Preheat the oven to the Broil setting towards the end of cooking the sausage.
- 3. Reduce heat to medium, push the sausage to the edges, and add the mushrooms and bell peppers to the center. Cook for 5-8 minutes until softened.
- 4. Turn off the heat and pour the marinara sauce over the sausage and veggies, smoothing it out.
- 5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top and arrange the pepperoni slices.
- 6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and broil for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and browned.
