Ingredients

The wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

The sauce

  • 1 cup diced mango
  • 1-2 habaneros, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Season the chicken wings with smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and place the wings on it.
  4. Bake the wings for 20 minutes, then flip them and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  5. While the wings are baking, blend the sauce ingredients until smooth and adjust to taste.
  6. Remove the wings and toss them in a large bowl with the mango habanero sauce.
  7. Reserve some sauce for serving, then return the sauced wings to the sheet pan and bake for another 5 minutes.
  8. Ensure the wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F before serving.
