Homemade Potato Chips

Ingredients

The chips

  • 2 medium russet potatoes (about 7-8 oz / 200-225g each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • a pinch pepper

The toppings

  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • to taste lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the potatoes super thin, about 1/16 inches.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat the potatoes dry.
  4. Toss the dried potatoes with olive oil to coat.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F and cook the potatoes in batches for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Season the cooked chips with garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  7. Top with crumbled feta and lemon zest if desired.
