Ingredients

Layer 1

  • 1 whole fresh young coconut
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • 6 cubes ice

Layer 2

  • 6 cubes frozen coconut milk
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • a pinch sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon water

Topping

  • ½ banana sliced

Instructions

  1. Pour the fresh coconut water into a glass and set aside.
  2. Scoop out the fresh coconut meat and add it to a food processor or blender.
  3. Add honey and ice cubes to the food processor and puree until smooth.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a glass and freeze while preparing Layer 2.
  5. In the food processor, add all Layer 2 ingredients and pulse until chunky.
  6. Add Layer 2 to the frozen Layer 1 and top with sliced bananas.
