Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon pure matcha green tea powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ cup light coconut milk, almond milk, oat milk or cow's milk

Instructions

  1. Sift the matcha powder into a wide mug.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of hot water and whisk vigorously until the matcha dissolves.
  3. Pour in ¼ cup of hot water and whisk again until dissolved.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine the honey and milk, heating until very warm.
  5. Whisk the milk vigorously to froth it, then pour it into the mug and whisk one last time.
