Instructions
- Mix all topping ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- Grease a muffin tin and set aside.
- Combine yeast, warm milk, honey, and olive oil in a mixing bowl and let it stand until foamy.
- Add egg yolk and softened butter, mix until combined, then gradually add flour and salt.
- Knead the dough for 4 to 5 minutes until smooth, adjusting with flour if sticky.
- Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into small pieces, rolling them into balls.
- Place three balls in each muffin tin well and let them rise again until puffy.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with the topping mixture.
- Bake for 12 to 13 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly before serving.
