Instructions
- Whisk warm milk, yeast, and 1 teaspoon honey together; let sit until foamy.
- Add remaining honey, egg, egg yolk, melted butter, salt, and flour; mix until dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until soft and slightly tacky.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (1-2 hours).
- Punch down the dough, divide into 15 pieces, and shape each into a smooth ball.
- Arrange in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise until puffy (about 1 hour).
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix topping ingredients and spread on warm rolls after baking.
