Instructions
- Make the sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, chili garlic sauce, sriracha, and sweetener in a bowl, then set aside.
- Prepare the batter by mixing the whey protein powder, almond flour, coconut flour, sea salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Add the whisked eggs and sparkling water, whisk until combined.
- Heat the avocado oil in a Dutch oven to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C).
- Dip the shrimp into the batter to coat, allowing excess to drip off, then add to the hot oil in a single layer. Fry for 2 minutes on each side.
- Remove the shrimp with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining shrimp.
- Toss the cooked shrimp in the bang bang sauce and serve.
