Instructions
- If making your own Ponzu sauce, combine all ingredients in a pot and heat until combined, then cool.
- Marinate the wings in the Ponzu sauce for up to an hour.
- While marinating, prepare the Thai peanut sauce.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high and oil the grates.
- Remove wings from the marinade and coat with ¾ of the ground Szechuan pepper.
- Reserve 1.5 cups of Thai peanut sauce for grilling and brush on wings while cooking.
- Grill wings until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Tent the wings under foil for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle remaining Szechuan pepper and flake sea salt before serving.
