Prosciutto Fig Goat Cheese Crostini

Ingredients

The crostini

  • 1 loaf whole wheat french bread, ½" slices
  • to taste ml olive oil
  • 1 clove fresh garlic

The toppings

  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • to taste ml fig jam
  • 3 oz prosciutto, torn into small pieces
  • to taste sprigs thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler to high.
  2. Place the french bread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil on one side.
  3. Bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes or until the tops are lightly browned.
  4. Remove the bread from the oven and rub the garlic clove on each slice.
  5. Spread the softened goat cheese evenly on the bread.
  6. Top each slice with a dollop of fig jam and a small piece of prosciutto.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
