Brown Sugar Kettle Corn

Instructions
- Prepare a large bowl to transfer the finished kettle corn.
- In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, add the oil and three popcorn kernels, then cover and heat over medium-high heat.
- Once all three kernels pop, add the remaining popcorn and salt, shaking the pan to coat the kernels in oil.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar over the popcorn and return the lid, leaving a small crack for steam to escape.
- Shake the pot every few seconds until the popcorn starts popping, then shake continuously.
- Remove the pot from heat when there are 1 to 2 seconds between pops.
- Transfer the popcorn to the prepared bowl, shaking the pot as you go, and pick out any unpopped or burnt kernels.
