Slow Cooker BBQ Beef

The beef and cooking base

The BBQ sauce

coconut aminos

tomato paste

white vinegar

mustard

smoked paprika
Instructions
- Cut the roast into 4 pieces and season with salt and pepper.
- Chop the onion and place it in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together all the BBQ sauce ingredients.
- Refrigerate half of the sauce for later use.
- Heat ghee in a skillet over medium heat and sear the roast pieces on all sides.
- Place the beef on top of the onions in the slow cooker and pour the remaining BBQ sauce over it.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the beef and mix it with the onions and sauce.
