Instructions
- Combine the coleslaw ingredients in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the dressing ingredients and combine with the coleslaw mixture.
- For the dumplings, mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add the butter and create a well in the mixture to add the milk.
- Knead the dough for about 30 seconds to form a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into 12-14 pieces and let it rest for at least 10 minutes.
- Shape the dough into biscuits or logs depending on your preference.
- Heat oil in a large saucepan to 350°F (177°C).
- Fry the dumplings until golden brown, about 7 minutes, then drain on paper towels.
