Ingredients

Bagels and Spreads

  • 8 count bagels
  • 1 8 ounce container chive cream cheese whipped
  • 1 8 ounce container cream cheese plain, whipped
  • ΒΌ cup Everything Bagel Seasoning

Toppings

  • 1 3-ounce jar capers drained
  • 4 ounces salmon roe
  • 2 pounds smoked salmon
  • 4 count hard-boiled eggs peeled and sliced
  • 2 count avocados halved, pitted, and thinly sliced
  • 1 count cucumber peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 medium fennel bulb thinly shaved (about 2 cups or 8 ounces)
  • 1 bunch radishes thinly sliced
  • 1 medium red onion thinly sliced (about 2 cups or 8 ounces)
  • 2 count tomatoes thinly sliced, heirloom tomatoes if possible
  • 1 bunch fresh dill chopped
  • 1 bunch fresh chives sliced
  • 4 count lemons thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Slice the bagels and arrange them on a platter or cutting board.
  2. Set up a toaster nearby with toaster tongs.
  3. Create anchor points with bowls for cream cheese, everything bagel seasoning, capers, and salmon roe.
  4. Arrange stacks of smoked salmon, hard-boiled eggs, cucumbers, fennel, radishes, red onions, and tomatoes around the bowls.
  5. Fill in gaps with small piles of fresh dill and chives.
  6. Provide forks, spreaders, and picks as needed.
