Ingredients

The meatballs and sauce

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 5 pieces vegan meatballs

The vegetables

  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic

The cooking oil

  • a drizzle none olive oil or vegetable broth

The bread

  • 5 pieces hot dog buns or sub sandwich rolls

Optional toppings

  • none none vegan parmesan
  • none none store bought vegan cheese
  • none none vegan cream sauce
  • none none vegan cheese sauce

Instructions

  1. Sauté garlic and kale in a pan using oil or vegetable broth until wilted.
  2. Add marinara sauce and cook until warmed throughout.
  3. Toast the buns and place 3 vegan meatballs in each bun.
  4. Top with the marinara and kale mixture along with any additional toppings.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
