Ingredients

The cauliflower

  • 1 head cauliflower

The seasoning and coating

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Slice the cauliflower in half and remove the core and leaves, then cut into florets.
  3. Place the florets on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, panko bread crumbs, and parsley.
  5. Lay the florets cut side down on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle the Parmesan mixture over the cauliflower and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until melted and browned.
