Ingredients

The squash

  • 1 unit spaghetti squash (3-5 lb)

The seasoning

  • 3-4 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  2. Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Brush the squash flesh with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the squash on a baking sheet, flesh-side down, and roast for 45-50 minutes until tender.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Use a fork to scrape the inside of the squash to create noodles.
  7. Serve the noodles in a bowl with desired toppings.
