Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients

The squash

  • 1 whole spaghetti squash

The seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut off the top and bottom ends of the spaghetti squash.
  3. Stand the squash upright and slice it in half from top to bottom.
  4. Scoop out the seeds and discard them.
  5. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil inside each half and rub it around.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper inside each half.
  7. Place the squash halves cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 40 to 60 minutes until golden and easily pierced with a fork.
  9. Fluff the insides with a fork to create a spaghetti-like texture and serve.
