Ingredients

Coffee Base

  • 4 tbsp ground dark Espresso
  • 12–14 oz purified hot water

Milk and Flavorings

  • 4 oz Almond/Cashew Milk
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar or raw sugar
  • 1 tbsp coconut cream or full fat coconut milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla or almond extract
  • to taste vegan dulce de leche sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the coffee using a French press with ground coffee and hot water, letting it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. While the coffee brews, mix the almond/cashew milk with sugar, spices, and any additional coconut cream in a glass container.
  3. Pour the brewed coffee over the milk mixture and stir well.
  4. Cover and let it sit in the fridge overnight to enhance the flavors.
  5. The next morning, pour the mixture into cups with ice and enjoy.
