Ingredients

The chicken

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts

The marinade

  • ½ cup BBQ sauce

For grilling

  • 1 spray non-stick spray

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce in a ziplock bag for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. Heat the grill to high and let it reach about 450°F.
  3. Grease the grill with non-stick spray or a paper towel coated in olive oil.
  4. Place the chicken on the grill top side down and reduce the heat to medium-high.
  5. Cook the chicken for 6 minutes on the first side, then flip and close the lid.
  6. Cook for another 6 minutes and check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer.
  7. Ensure the chicken reaches 155°F before removing it from the grill.
  8. Let the chicken rest for at least 10 minutes before cutting.
