Ingredients

The chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Optional sauce

  • ¼ cup bbq sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the grill by cleaning the grates and setting it to medium high heat (400-450°F).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts between two pieces of wax paper to achieve a uniform thickness.
  3. Brush both sides of the chicken with avocado oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the chicken smooth side down on the grill and close the lid.
  5. Cook for 3 minutes, then rotate the chicken 90 degrees for an additional minute.
  6. Flip the chicken and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  7. If desired, brush BBQ sauce on the chicken during the last flip.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
