Ingredients

The Pork Chops

  • 4 pieces Pork Rib Chops
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Sunshine State of Mind Craft BBQ Rub

The Orange Miso Glaze

  • cup yellow miso
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp grated orange peel

Garnish

  • to taste finely chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the ingredients for the orange miso glaze in a small pot over low heat until combined and slightly reduced.
  2. Coat the pork chops with olive oil and rub the BBQ rub on all sides.
  3. Prepare the grill with direct and indirect heat. Cook the pork on indirect heat until it reaches 135°F, then sear on direct heat for 2-3 minutes per side until char marks form and it reaches 140°F.
  4. Return the pork to indirect heat, add the miso glaze, and cook until it reaches 145°F. Tent with foil for 10 minutes before serving.
  5. Garnish with finely chopped green onions before serving.
