Ingredients

The pork chops

  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops (5 oz each, ½-inch thick)
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt

The sauce

  • 3 Tbsp I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spread
  • tsp cornstarch
  • ¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh sage leaves

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with pepper and salt.
  2. Melt 2 Tbsp of butter spread in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops and cook for about 4 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. Transfer the pork chops to a plate and cover with foil to rest for at least 3 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, whisk together 1 Tbsp of broth with cornstarch and mix in the remaining broth, orange juice, lemon juice, and honey.
  6. Reduce the skillet temperature to medium and melt the remaining butter spread.
  7. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden.
  8. Pour in the orange juice mixture, scraping the bottom of the skillet to loosen browned bits, and bring to a boil while whisking.
  9. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 1 minute, stirring frequently.
  10. Stir in orange zest and sage, then return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them.
  11. Serve warm.
