Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine all the ingredients for the spicy walnut meat and blend until crumb-like.
- Transfer the walnut mixture to a bowl.
- Layer tortilla chips on a baking sheet, followed by refried beans, cheese, and walnut meat. Repeat the layers.
- Bake for about 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with tomatoes, avocado, cilantro, pickled onion, sour cream, lime, jalapeño, and hot sauce before serving.
