Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt, then whisk until well combined.
- Stir in the cream until a shaggy dough forms, ensuring no dry flour remains.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it 5 or 6 times until it comes together.
- Pat the dough to about ¾-inch thick and cut into rounds using a biscuit cutter.
- Transfer the biscuits to the baking sheet and brush the tops lightly with melted butter.
- Bake for 11 to 14 minutes until golden brown, then brush with remaining butter and serve.
