Light & Fluffy Cream Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 ½ cups cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, garlic salt, and baking powder.
  3. Gently stir in the cream until the mixture is moistened and holds together.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, pat out the dough to about 1 – 1 ½ inches tall.
  5. Use a 2-inch round cookie cutter to cut out the biscuits and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops of the biscuits with cream.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
