Melt-in-your-Mouth Cream Biscuits

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pastry flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour in the cream and stir until the dry ingredients are moistened.
- Pat the dough into a square about ½ inch thick on a baking sheet, using extra flour if needed.
- Cut the dough into 16 equal squares and space them out on the baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with milk if desired.
- Bake until golden brown on the bottom, about 10-12 minutes.
- Serve warm with butter and jam or store in an airtight container.
