The dressing

Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large pot until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and Creole seasoning in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, combine the frozen peas and chopped red onion.
- Add the mayonnaise mixture to the peas and mix thoroughly.
- Stir in half of the bacon and the grated cheese.
- Adjust seasonings to taste, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Top with reserved bacon before serving.
