Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

The sauce

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • optional chopped fresh parsley and lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning on the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat and add garlic, cooking for 1 minute while stirring constantly.
  3. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve garnished with parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
