Honey Cajun Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

The shrimp

  • 1 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined with tails on

The marinade

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 dashes Cajun seasonings
  • 1 pinch salt

Dipping Sauce (Optional)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, honey, lemon juice, Cajun seasonings, and salt together.
  3. Prepare the optional Dipping Sauce by mixing all the ingredients together and set aside.
  4. Combine the shrimp with the honey mixture and stir to coat well.
  5. Fire up an outdoor grill and grill the shrimp until they turn slightly charred.
  6. Transfer the shrimp to the top section of the grill to cook completely.
  7. Transfer to a serving platter and serve with the Dipping Sauce.
