Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 10 by 15-inch jelly roll pan by buttering and lining it with parchment.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda.
- In a stand mixer, cream the melted butter and brown sugar together until blended.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add the vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for about 17 to 21 minutes, until set but slightly under-baked in the center.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
