Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Spray an 8x8 inch baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat and let it cool.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, whisk the egg, vanilla, almond extract, and both sugars until combined.
- Stir in the melted butter, then mix in the flour mixture until fully incorporated.
- Add the chocolate chips and scoop the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing into 12 square pieces.
